NFL picks, Week 7: Bills, Jets, Bucs & Cardinals seeking division upsets

Underdogs like the Bills and Cardinals are looking to get a win against favored division rivals this week. And, of course, the Colts would like to give Peyton Manning his first loss of the season in his return trip to Indianapolis.

Ed Mulholland-USA TODAY Sports

In case you missed the last 24 hours of Jim Irsay saying crazy things his coaches would probably prefer he didn't, Peyton Manning's return to Indianapolis headlines the Week 7 slate. However, there are 14 other games happening, all with some level of implications for the standings and the playoffs.

A key divisional matchup between the Ravens and the Steelers has our panel divided this week. Understandably so. The Ravens are a tough team to predict, and the Steelers remembering how to win last week could make this a close contest. That's not the only division game of note. The Jets will try to get a win against a hobbled Patriots team, and the Bills will look to exploit a weak Dolphins offensive line to pull off the upset.

Could the Giants and Buccaneers be on the verge of their first win? The Bucs got one vote to beat the Falcons, and the majority of the panel likes the Giants to beat the Vikings on Monday night.

On the other side of the spectrum, all five panelists are predicting that the Chiefs will remain undefeated after a visit from the Texans on Sunday. And the Manning/Luck showdown? Four took the elder statesman of quarterbacking to win in his return home, but there was one holdout picking the next generation of great Colts quarterbacks to take a big leap toward the future this week.

Here are the picks for Week 7.
