NFL odds and lines 2013, Week 7: Cowboys vs. Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles are narrow favorites over the Dallas Cowboys for their Week 7 matchup.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys will face off in an important NFC East matchup in Week 7. Both teams are 3-3 and tied for first place in the division, meaning it will have a winning team in front after Sunday. Both teams are also coming off wins, with the Cowboys downing rival Washington Redskins in their latest game, and Philadelphia downing the lowly Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Philadelphia opened as narrow 1.5-point favorites earlier in the week, though the line has widened slightly in their favor, according to OddsShark. They could be had for as high as 2.5-point favorites midway through the week.

Oddsmakers likely consider Dallas to be the better team, by a narrow margin. Home-field advantage can typically swing things by a 3- to 4-point margin, meaning the Cowboys would be favored on a neutral field.

The over/under for the matchup opened at 55.5 points, and has moved up slightly, with some books as high as 57. That total has gone under in five of Dallas’ last seven games, and over in six of Philadelphia’s last nine.
