NFL odds and lines 2013, Week 7: Buccaneers vs. Falcons

The injured Falcons will take on the lowly Buccaneers in Week 7.

Scott Cunningham

The Falcons will host the Buccaneers in Atlanta in Week 7. The Buccaneers are coming off a loss to the Eagles, while the Falcons were on bye in Week 6. Tampa Bay is 0-5, while Atlanta is 1-4. Despite both teams having poor records, the Falcons are favored by 8.5 points at Georgia Dome on Sunday, according to OddsShark.

Atlanta has been decimated by injuries over the last several weeks, with major stars like linebacker Sean Weatherspoon and wide receiver Julio Jones being put on injured reserve within the first five games of the season. For the Falcons to bounce back, they will need to recover from injuries as soon as possible. Quarterback Matt Ryan will have to rely on tight end Tony Gonzalez and wide receiver Roddy White to put up points.

The Buccaneers continue to start rookie Mike Glennon at quarterback with mediocre results. While Glennon has thrown three touchdowns in his first two games, he has also had three turnovers as well. He will need to get running back Doug Martin and wide receiver Vincent Jackson involved on offense. The Buccaneers will need to rebound after allowing Nick Foles to throw for 296 yards and three touchdowns in Week 6.

The Falcons will host the Buccaneers at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.
