Michael Vick confirmed Thursday what has been suspected all week: he will not be suiting up for the Eagles this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys, according to Geoff Mosher of CSN.
Michael Vick injury: Eagles QB announces he won’t play vs. Cowboys
Vick confirmed in an odd post-practice press conference that Nick Foles will be handling quarterback duties this Sunday.

Vick made the announcement alongside Nick Foles in a strange joint-quarterback post-practice press conference on Thursday, during which he asserted with childhood earnest to "cross my heart" that he would not play this weekend.
The veteran quarterback was off to a good start to 2013 before straining his hamstring in a Week 5 win over the Giants. He missed last Sunday's game against the Bucs and had been rumored all week to be unfit to play this Sunday.
Foles, who will start against the Cowboys, has been brilliant as his replacement, beginning with a 197-yard, two-touchdown relief performance to carry the Eagles across the finish line against the Giants. He followed that up by becoming the first Eagles quarterback since 2010 to score three passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown in game, piling up 296 passing yards in the process as the Eagles beat the Bucs, 31-20.
