Update: The Browns held running back Willis McGahee to rest his surgically-repaired knee, according Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. McGahee was not on the Browns injury report on Wednesday.
Willis McGahee misses Thursday practice to rest knee, per report
The Browns gave Willis McGahee the day off to rest his knee.

McGahee was signed shortly after the Browns traded Trent Richardson to the Colts for a first-round pick. The running back has appeared in four games this season and has rushed for 164 yards and a touchdown. If he is unable to play on Sunday, fullback Chris Ogbonnaya will likely start at running back. The Browns also have Bobby Rainey and Fozzy Whittaker on the roster.
The Browns are currently 3-3 and are tied for third in the AFC North. With McGahee possibly out of the lineup, the Browns may have quarterback Brandon Weeden pass quite a bit. The Packers are able to score in bunches, so that may have been the plan anyway.
The Browns will travel to Green Bay to face the Packers on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
