NFL picks and predictions 2013, Browns vs. Packers: No one likes Cleveland, except Chris Mortensen
After an ugly loss to the Lions last week, the Internet has jumped off the Browns’ bandwagon ... except for one man.

The Cleveland Browns were actually a pretty nice story for a while. Brian Hoyer played well to lead the team to two straight wins and a small chunk of a third, and the Browns made a convincing argument that they were the best team in the AFC North. Hoyer got hurt, however, reinstating Brandon Weeden at quarterback. Weeden went 26-for-43 and threw two touchdowns to two interceptions as the Browns lost, 31-17, to the Detroit Lions last week, the team's first loss since the last time Weeden started.
The loss left a sour taste in the mouths of NFL analysts apparently, with experts around the Internet roundly picking the Green Bay Packers to win this weekend. Among the experts at SB Nation, ESPN, CBS and Yahoo!, only one man had the gall to take the Browns to upset the Packers at Lambeau Field. Browns fans, say hello to your new biggest fan ... Chris Mortensen.
Mortensen's motives are unclear, but take a look at his picks compared to the rest of the ESPN panel and you'll find that Mort is quite the contrarian. He took the Indianapolis Colts to beat the Denver Broncos, the Baltimore Ravens to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Tennessee Titans to beat the San Francisco 49ers, and the Jacksonville Jaguars to beat the San Diego Chargers ... all in the face of conventional wisdom.
Is Mort feeling frisky after ticking off Jim Irsay this week?
