Willis McGahee returned to practice Friday for the Cleveland Browns after missing practice Thursday to rest his surgically-repaired knee. According to Browns beat writer Steve Doerschuk, McGahee will play Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
Willis McGahee injury: Browns RB back in practice, expected to play
Willis McGahee returned to practice Friday, and is expected to suit up when the Browns take on the Packers.

There was some mild trepidation Thursday, but McGahee's day off appears to have been simple precaution on the Browns' end. McGahee has yet to miss playing time this season since being signed by Cleveland after the team sent Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts in a blockbuster trade.
Chris Ogbonnaya would likely have taken on an increased workload if McGahee had been ruled out for Week 7. He has been steadily seeing more touches, anyway. Last week against the Detroit Lions, Ogbonnaya had five carries for 24 yards and seven receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown. McGahee had 10 carries for 37 yards and one reception for two yards.
Against the Packers, the Browns could be forced to throw often to keep up with Aaron Rodgers and Co. If that’s the case, Ogbonnaya could spend much more time on the field than McGahee being the better receiver out of the backfield.
