Week 7 NFL preview: Cowboys vs. Eagles

The two best teams in the NFC East -- not that that’s saying much -- face off for control of the division. But with both teams featuring lots of weapons on offense and no defense to speak of, it should be a fun game to watch. Matt Ufford previews the game and makes his pick.

After this week, an above-.500 team will be on top of the NFC East as the 3-3 Philadelphia Eagles host the 3-3 Dallas Cowboys from Lincoln Financial this Sunday. Nick Foles gets the start for the Eagles in place of an injured Michael Vick, a story that is certain to develop into a full-fledged quarterback controversy if Foles puts up numbers similar to his last two outings. With both teams sporting top-five scoring offenses and bottom-three pass defenses, this one should be a shootout.
