The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are hoping to add some quarterback depth, and the team worked out John Skelton among others on Friday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Buccaneers work out QB John Skelton, per report
Tampa Bay is looking to add depth at quarterback.

Since releasing Josh Freeman, the Buccaneers have been starting rookie Mike Glennon at quarterback but have little depth behind him. Dan Orlovsky is the team's best option if Glennon goes down.
Skelton was a fifth-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals back in in 2010, but started his last game for the team in 2012 before suffering an ankle injury that effectively ended his season. Skelton signed with the Bengals and 49ers after moving on from the Cardinals but didn't manage to stick with either team for very long.
While Tampa Bay searches for a new quarterback, its old quarterback, Freeman, will be making his first start as a member of the Minnesota Vikings in Week 7 against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football.
