The Cleveland Browns announced several roster moves on Friday leading up to their Week 7 game against the Green Bay Packers.
Browns waive RB Bobby Rainey, add Tori Gurley to active roster
Gurley will get a chance to play against the team that first signed him.

The Browns waived running back Bobby Rainey and placed defensive back Josh Aubrey on injured reserve. Cleveland promoted wide receiver Tori Gurley to the active roster, along with defensive back Julian Posey.
Rainey had a small window of opportunity to make an impact for the Browns after Trent Richardson was traded, but he didn't show enough to stick on the active roster. He received carries in each of the Browns' last four games, rushing 13 times for 34 yards.
Gurley, meanwhile, was initially signed by the Packers as an undrafted rookie following the 2011 draft. He’s spent time with five others NFL teams since his college career at South Carolina ended. In his time in the NFL, Gurley has only one catch for 15 yards, and it came earlier this season for the Browns.
