The Baltimore Ravens have officially activated linebacker Jameel McClain off the Reserve/PUP list. McClain is expected to make his season debut against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. He's listed as probable for the game in Friday's injury report.
Ravens activate Jameel McClain from PUP
The Ravens activated Jameel McClain from the PUP list and are expected to play him in Sunday’s game.

McClain hasn't played since suffering a spinal cord injury last season. He missed all of training camp and the preseason sitting on the Active/PUP list. He started the regular season on the PUP list, making him ineligible for the first six games, but returned to practice for the first time this week. Before the injury, McClain recorded 78 tackles in 13 games playing in an inside linebacker position. He's expected to play a rotational role alongside Daryl Smith and rookie Arthur Brown.
To make room for McClain on the active roster, the Ravens released tight end Billy Bajema. This is the third week in a row Bajema has been cut by the team, only to be re-signed shortly afterwards.
