Danny Trevathan injury: Broncos LB carted off practice field Wednesday
The 4-0 Broncos may have suffered a big loss on Wednesday after one of their starting outside linebackers had to be helped off of the field due to a knee injury.

Trevathan played sparingly as a rookie last season, appearing in all 16 games and recording 30 tackles and a sack, but has started all four games this year and recorded 4 tackles and an interception against Joe Flacco and the Ravens in Week 1. He has helped give the defense a major boost in the absence of the suspended Von Miller, as Denver has started off the season 4-0 for the seventh time in franchise history.
Steven Johnson, a second-year player that went undrafted out of Kansas in 2012 and scored a touchdown against the Eagles in Week 4 on a blocked punt, is currently listed as the backup to Levathan. Johnson has thus far in his career played almost exclusively on special teams.
