Week 7 in the NFL started with an offensive whimper as the first three touchdowns of the day were all scored on defense. Two returned interceptions and a fumble return put the Rams, Dolphins and Buccaneers in early holes to start their week.
NFL week 7 update: Three defensive touchdowns open key games
The St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will all need to get back on track after a trio of turnovers led to early deficits.

Sam Bradford threw a pick-six on the first play of the game when he was overwhelmed by the Carolina Panthers' pass rush and threw a tipped pass. It resulted in an easy interception for cornerback Captain Munnerlyn, who toed the sideline and returned the pass 45-yards for a touchdown.
Moments later the second defensive touchdown occurred in Miami, when an under pressure Ryan Tannehill threw the ball to rookie Nickell Robey who returned the ball 19-yards for the second returned interception of the day. The Dolphins will hope their aggressive defense can rattle Thad Lewis in his second start and get them back in the game.
Rounding out the trio was Mike Glennon's fumble, as the rookie quarterback coughed up the ball on a sack-fumble for an easy touchdown return by safety Thomas DeCoud.
