Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson suffered an apparent knee injury in Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins. He later returned to the game.

The veteran went down with a left knee injury and is in lots of pain. He returned to the game shortly afterwards.

Jackson caught a screen pass and ran about 15 yards down the sideline. He went down when tight end Scott Chandler appeared to roll up on his left knee. Jackson stayed down for several minutes in lots of pain.
Jackson later got up and went to the sidelines, flexing his knee. He continued to walk around and refused to get on a cart. He came back into the game on the Bills’ next drive.
Jackson had been in and out of the injury reports this season with a knee ailment. He suffered a mild MCL sprain in Week 4, but played through the injury. The 32-year-old has had a minor career revival, rushing for 344 yards and four touchdowns on 75 carries.
C.J. Spiller has been splitting carries with Jackson, although he's dealing with an ankle injury of his own.
