It's a tightly-contested game in Philadelphia as the Eagles and Cowboys are both 3-3 and fighting for the lead in the NFC East, but nobody expected the game to feature such a small amount of offense on both sides. Despite Dallas and Philadelphia both ranking in the top four in scoring this year, the Cowboys lead just 3-0 at the half.
Cowboys at Eagles score update: Dallas holds slim lead in surprisingly low-scoring game
In what was expected to be a shootout, there has been only a field goal in this NFC East matchup so far.

Dallas, second in the NFL in points and 21st in points allowed, have notched just a 38-yard field goal from Dan Bailey in the second quarter. With running back DeMarco Murray out due to a knee sprain, the offense has leaned on rookie Joseph Randle, who has 10 carries for 34 yards. Terrance Williams leads Dallas with three catches for 50 yards. Quarterback Tony Romo is 11-of-22 for 160 yards.
Philadelphia, fourth in the NFL in points and 29th in points allowed, has yet to put together much of any offense at all behind quarterback Nick Foles. Coming off of a four-touchdown performance against the Bucs last Sunday, Foles is just 11-of-23 for 80 yards. Eagles kicker Alex Henery missed a 60-yard field goal attempt just before the half.
Neither team has turned the ball over and they have combined for 13 punts. The over/under was set at 55 but they are going to need a much different second half to get over that now. With these offenses and defenses, it’s still not impossible.
