Jermichael Finley injury: Packers TE carted off field against Browns
Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley was down on the field for an extended period of time following a hit from Browns defensive back Tashaun Gipson.
Following a catch from Finley, Gipson lowered his shoulder for a tackle on Finley and struck him in the head. Gipson received a personal foul on the play. Trainers surrounded Finley on the field and his movement was limited.
Finley was carted off the field wearing a neck brace after laying motionless on the field. As he was taken off on a stretcher, Finley raised his arm slightly to the crowd at Lambeau Field.
Coming into the game, Finley had 20 catches for 228 yards and two touchdowns. He had added five catches for 72 yards and a touchdown against the Browns and was a huge part of Green Bay’s offense.
