NFL injuries 2013, Week 7: Brian Cushing, Reggie Wayne done for the rest of the season

The season-ending injuries of Reggie Wayne and Brian Cushing are making headlines following Week 7.

Jamie Squire

The AFC South suffered two major losses in Week 7. The Texans and Colts both lost Pro Bowl players that are well-respected members of their respective locker rooms. The Jaguars and Titans, however, were able to stay relatively-injury free.

The Colts have lost wide receiver Reggie Wayne for the season. The Pro Bowl pass-catcher suffered an ACL tear in the Colts win over the previously-undefeated Broncos. The Colts will likely have to add a wide receiver to fill Wayne's spot on the roster.

Texans linebacker Brain Cushing's season is also over. The former USC Trojan suffered a broken fibula and a torn LCL on Sunday night against the Chiefs. He will have surgery on Tuesday, according to NFL Media's Albert Breer. Running back Arian Foster also suffered a mild hamstring injury, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport.

The Jaguars were able to avoid injuries against the Chargers, while the Titans invited back quarterback Jake Locker from a hip injury against the 49ers. The Titans also failed to register any major injuries.
