NFC West injuries 2013, Week 7: Rams QB Sam Bradford done for the year

A big injury to Rams quarterback Sam Bradford has created a hole in the NFC West’s quarterback depth.

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The NFC West suffered a high-profile loss in Week 7. An ACL tear to Rams quarterback Sam Bradford will end his season. Bradford fell awkwardly as he attempted to run out of bounds, which resulted in the tear against the Carolina Panthers. Backup Kellen Clemens will serve as the starter moving forward, according to KFFL. The Rams will talk on the Seahawks on Monday Night Football.

The Seahawks and Cardinals played on Thursday night and were able to avoid major injuries. However, wide receiver Percy Harvin has returned to practice for Seattle, according to CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora. Harvin has been absent from the lineup since the offseason due to hip surgery.

The 49ers faced the Titans on Sunday and came out mostly unscathed. Linebacker Patrick Willis returned in the win over Tennessee. A healthy team is important, as the 49ers will travel to London in Week 8 to face the Jaguars at Wembley Stadium.
