Trade rumors continue to swirl around Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon on Wednesday. A source tells Pro Football Talk that a trade remains "possible, but not probable," as the Oct. 29 deadline approaches.
Josh Gordon trade rumors: Trade ‘not probable’, per report
Trade rumors are ramping up with the deadline less than a week away. Here’s the latest on the Josh Gordon situation.

The reasons for the rumors mainly center around Gordon’s off-field concerns. He was suspended for the first two games of the 2013 season and is reportedly in Stage 3 of the NFL’s substance abuse program, subjecting him to 10 random drug tests per month. If he fails one, the NFL can suspend him for a full season.
Browns CEO Joe Banner has insisted that he’s not interested in trading Gordon, but there is still interest around the league. On Monday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that at least three teams asked the Browns about Gordon, and two have “standing offers” of a high draft pick and a player.
Gordon has enough talent to make other teams willing to take a risk on him, but it’s unknown if the Browns will take the plunge. It’s likely we’ll continue hearing more rumors until the deadline passes next Tuesday.
