New York Jets receiver Jeremy Kerley (hamstring) was limited in practice on Thursday, reports Rich Cimini. It's the first known report of an injury for Kerley this week, and it was noted that the move to limit him was "precautionary." The Jets travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals in Week 8.
Jeremy Kerley injury: Jets WR limited with hamstring issue
Already without Santonio Holmes, the Jets can’t afford to lose Kerley. He was limited on Thursday as a precaution.

Kerley is coming off of his best game of the season, catching eight passes for 97 yards as New York beat the Patriots in overtime. With teammate Santonio Holmes out, Kerley has stepped up and now leads the team with 319 receiving yards on the year. Losing Kerley would be a major blow to the Jets' offense, so taking the precaution to limit him on Thursday would make sense if there were any concerns.
New York is 4-3 on the season and not only in contention for a Wild Card berth, but only one game behind the Patriots in the AFC East.
