Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones did not practice on Friday and is unlikely to play against the Minnesota Vikings this Sunday, according to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.
James Jones injury: Packers WR not expected to play vs. Vikings
Jones missed practice again on Friday and is a long shot to suit up on Sunday.

The Packers are hurting at the receiver position, with Aaron Rodgers missing three of his favorite targets heading into Sunday. The speedy Randall Cobb was placed on injured reserve-designated to return after he broke his leg against Baltimore, and tight end Jermichael Finley is out indefinitely after suffering a scary bruised spinal cord injury last week.
That leaves the reliable Jordy Nelson and second-year man Jarrett Boykin as the top wideouts against the Vikings. Boykin stepped up big last week during his first significant playing time as a pro, catching eight passes for 103 yards and a touchdown.
