Denver Broncos running back Ronnie Hillman will not dress for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post.
Broncos bench RB Ronnie Hillman, will use C.J. Anderson
A crucial Week 7 fumble cost Ronnie Hillman a spot on the active roster for Week 8.

C.J. Anderson will dress in Hillman's place after Hillman fumbled on a crucial play late in the fourth quarter of Denver's loss to Indianapolis in Week 7.
Hillman was a third-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. He rushed for just over 300 yards in limited action as a rookie. Expectations were raised entering his second season. But Knowshon Moreno (who was benched for eight weeks during the 2012 season) and rookie Montee Ball have taken the majority of the carries, and when given his chance, Hillman blew it.
It’s unclear whether this is a short-term move to teach Hillman a lesson or if John Fox plans to keep the ball out of Hillman’s hands for the rest of the season. He’s flashed ability as a third-down back and still could have a bright future in the NFL.
