Tom Brady proved that a swollen hand and offensive line troubles weren't enough to prevent him from winning as the New England Patriots mounted a second half comeback to defeat the Miami Dolphins, 27-17.

Brady struggled in the first half as the Patriots quarterback didn’t look comfortable under center. Entering the half, he had thrown for less than 50 yards as well as a costly interception. Everything started to click as they returned in the second half at home. The Patriots scored 24 unanswered points, including two rushing touchdowns that took the pressure off Brady on a day he needed help.

Ryan Tannehill had a mixed performance. At times he looked like the hostile road environment wasn't too much for him, but he struggled to throw accurately on deep routes throughout the day, finishing with 192 passing yards on 42 attempts.

A silver lining for the Dolphins will be its running game, which finally found its footing in Foxboro. Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas combined for 136 rushing yards, both averaging over 4.5 yards per carry. This wasn't enough to turn the game around, as Miami was unable to find the end zone.

Injury report

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Gibson left Sunday's game with a knee injury. He was taken to the locker room on a cart, and did not return.

Sebastian Vollmer suffered a bad injury in the first half and left the field in an air cast.

Fantasy studs and duds

Tom Brady did what it took to win the game, but was not an impact player in fantasy leagues as he finished with 116 yards and a touchdown.

Mike Wallace managed just 41 yards receiving on three catches.
