Titans trade rumors: Price not high for Kenny Britt

With Britt set to hit free agency, it doesn’t seem like he has much of a future with Tennessee and they may be willing to move him at a low cost.

Don McPeak-USA TODAY Sports

The Titans are receptive to trade offers for wide receiver Kenny Britt and the price would not be very high, according to Ian Rapaport. Britt, an impending free agent, is having the worst season of his career and has been almost non-existent on offense. He has eight catches for 67 yards in six games. Rapaport also mentions that the Lions would make sense if there aren't any more off-field issues with Britt.

It was reported on October 17 that head coach Mike Munchak was happy with Britt and that the team had no plans to trade him. It appears now that the team is ready to move the receiver after another unproductive game. He has one catch for less than 10 yards in each of the last three games.

The former first round pick had over 700 yards in each of his first two seasons, but has already lost his job as a starter to Kendall Wright, and it doesn't look like he'll be able to wrestle that job back any time soon.

The Lions could be looking for receiver help after injuries to Nate Burleson, Calvin Johnson and Ryan Broyles this year. Britt has been involved in numerous off-field issues and incidents with police and was suspended in 2012 for violating the league's conduct policy.
