The Minnesota Vikings may be considering trading defensive end Jared Allen. According to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, the Vikings would be willing to deal him "for the right price."
Vikings trade rumors: Jared Allen available for right price
Is Jared Allen on the trading block?

Allen has been one of the best pass rushers of his generation, racking up 121.5 sacks in 10 seasons with the Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs. He's also 31 years old, set to become a free agent at the end of the season and has expressed frustration with his situation in Minnesota. It's unlikely the Vikings will bring him back in the offseason, but they may try to get some draft picks for him while being stuck at 1-6.
If the Vikings do decide to trade Allen, they won’t sell him cheap. Glazer reports that the team won’t trade him for anything less than a third round pick. The NFL trade deadline is Oct. 29 this season, shortly after the Week 8 games.
