The Denver Broncos started the first half strong, but the Washington Redskins finished the half with a lengthy scoring drive and the two teams are tied, 7-7, heading into the second half of their Week 8 matchup.
Redskins vs. Broncos 2013 score update: Denver, Washington tied 7-7 at halftime
Washington is giving Peyton Manning and the Broncos’ offense trouble.

Peyton Manning and the Broncos' passing offense wasted no time getting things going, scoring just five minutes into the game. Manning threw a touchdown to Wes Welker to open up the scoring.
The Broncos defense held tight for a while, too. But on the final series of the first half for Washington, Robert Griffin III threw a touchdown to wide receiver Leonard Hankerson to tie the game up. Griffin avoided pressure in the pocket and zipped the pass into the end zone with ease, capping off a long Washington drive. The Broncos hoped a flag on the play would negate the penalty, but it was for defensive holding.
With just seven points at halftime, this is Denver’s weakest first-half showing of the season thus far.
