The NFC North enjoyed a relatively injury-free Week 8 with one big exception. Clouding the Detroit Lions' incredible win over the Dallas Cowboys is the fact that wide receiver Ryan Broyles is likely out for the year with a ruptured Achilles' tendon. Broyles suffered season-ending torn ACLs as a rookie in 2012 and as a senior at Oklahoma in 2011, making his latest injury especially unfortunate.
NFC North injury report, Week 8: Ryan Broyles likely done for the year
The Detroit Lions likely lost Ryan Broyles for the season in yet another major setback for the young wideout. Otherwise, the NFC North managed to stay relatively healthy in Week 9.

At least the Lions are expecting Nate Burleson back soon, and all is never lost when Calvin Johnson is on your side. Still, it's sad to see a promising talent have his career compromised by constant setbacks.
The Lions also briefly lost Reggie Bush with an apparent shoulder injury during the game, but the running back was able to return.
The Green Bay Packers dominated the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night, in what was apparently a very injury-free game. The only in-game casualty appears to be Vikings safety Jamarca Sanford, who left the game in the second quarter due to an apparent groin injury.
For next week, the Packers are hoping that the likes of linebacker Brad Jones, defensive end Nick Perry and wide receiver James Jones can return to play the Chicago Bears in Week 9. The Vikings will be keeping tabs on quarterback Josh Freeman , and fullbacks Rhett Ellison and Matt Asiata for next Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Bears were on a bye in Week 8. Cornerback Charles Tillman and wide receiver Brandon Marshall are the big-name question marks for Week 9 against the Packers.
