Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim denied on Monday morning that he has had any conversation about a trade involving seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. "I have not had one conversation regarding a trade with Larry Fitzgerald," Keim told the Doug & Wolf Show on Monday.

Fitzgerald is rumored to be a possible trade subject in the offseason, but Cardinals GM Steve Keim denies that any talks have happened.

Fitzgerald, 30, became the subject of trade rumors on Sunday when ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that multiple league executives expect the receiver to be the subject of a trade in the 2014 offseason. With a salary-cap hit that will inflate to $18 million in 2014, the Cardinals could save $8 million by trading Fitzgerald and could expedite the process by trading him before the Tuesday deadline, although Schefter said that would be a long-shot.
The third-overall selection in the 2004 NFL Draft, Fitzgerald has played his entire career with the Cardinals and became the youngest player to ever reach 800 receptions on Sunday. With 10,883 career receiving yards and 82 touchdowns, Fitzgerald owns every major receiving record for the franchise.
The NFL trade deadline is set for 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
