Two of the four NFC East quarterbacks watched the closing minutes of their respective games from the sidelines, as both Michael Vick of the Philadelphia Eagles and Robert Griffin III of the Washington Redskins were removed due to injuries.

The more serious of the two appeared to be Vick, who left in the first quarter of the team's 15-7 loss after reportedly feeling a "pop" in his hamstring early in the game. The injury will likely keep Vick out of the lineup in Week 9 and if Nick Foles isn't able to play for a second straight week due to a concussion, the Eagles will have to rely on rookie Matt Barkley to lead the team.
A knee injury for Griffin is said to be much less serious, as a hit from Denver Broncos defensive tackle Terrance Knighton left the Redskins quarterback slow to get up. When he did, he jogged to the sideline uninhibited but didn't return to the game. Already well behind a Broncos team that scored 31 fourth quarter points, Griffin's absence in the final minutes was likely a precautionary move given the score of the game and he isn't expected to miss time in Week 9.
Also not considered to be serious was an injury to New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz that sent the Pro Bowler to the locker room. Cruz later returned to the field and told reporters after the game that he suffered a stinger.
The Dallas Cowboys suffered a pair of injuries on Sunday, as both cornerback Morris Claiborne and offensive lineman Brian Waters were forced from the game. Claiborne suffered a hamstring injury in the loss that could sideline the cornerback for a few weeks, while Waters suffered knee, triceps and rib injuries.
