The Seattle Seahawks nearly saw the debut of wide receiver Percy Harvin, but a flare-up in his injured hip on Thursday caused the team to pump the brakes and rule him inactive for another week, according to a report from Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports 1.
Percy Harvin’s hip flared up before Seahawks-Rams game
The Seahawks almost saw the debut of their offseason trade acquisition but Percy Harvin’s hip flared up and the team sat him out on Monday.

Harvin, 25, was acquired by the team via trade in March from the Minnesota Vikings for multiple draft picks, including a first-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. However, a partially torn hip labrum and subsequent surgery sent him to the physically unable to perform list where he has remained for the first eight weeks of the year.
The Seahawks could use the boost in their passing game too, as only four teams average fewer passing yards per game. In four seasons with the Vikings, Harvin accumulated 280 receptions for 3,302 yards and 20 touchdowns, while also contributing often in the running and return game.
Seattle next hosts the winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers before traveling to face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10.
