Indianapolis Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw may need to have neck surgery and could be out for the entire season, according to the Indianapolis Star's Mike Chappell. The team hopes rest will heal the injury, but there is growing concern that might not be possible.
Ahmad Bradshaw injury: Colts RB may need neck surgery, per report
The Colts might not have Bradshaw for a while, if at all, this season.

Bradshaw has been sitting out since Week 3, when he was hurt against the San Francisco 49ers. He has been replaced in the starting lineup by Trent Richardson, for whom the Colts gave up a first-round pick when acquiring him from the Cleveland Browns.
The team is still hoping Bradshaw’s neck will heal without having to go under the knife, but anything is possible right now. Head coach Chuck Pagano expects his back to play this season, according to the report, but he’s still waiting for more test results
Bradshaw has had a history of injuries. During his seven-year career, he has played a full slate of games only once, back in 2010. Twice, Bradshaw has broken the 1,000-yard barrier in 2010 and 2012, both times with the New York Giants.
