Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden missed practice again on Thursday, according to CSN's Scott Bair. Earlier this week it appeared that the injuries to McFadden and teammate Marcel Reece were not considered serious, but McFadden was "nowhere to be seen" on Thursday due to his hurt hamstring. Reece was practicing on Thursday.

Though it appeared earlier in the week that McFadden’s injury was not serious, he was nowhere to be seen on Thursday.


McFadden has played in all four games this season, rushing for 215 yards and two touchdowns on 53 carries, but he has not played in more than 13 games in any of his previous five NFL seasons. McFadden played in 12 games last year and ran for 707 yards, averaging 3.3 yards per rush, but he has upped his average this season to 4.1 yards per carry.
The Raiders moved halfback Taiwan Jones to cornerback in the offseason, but head coach Dennis Allen reiterated on Thursday that Jones will remain in the secondary and not return to offense.
Oakland takes on the San Diego Chargers in Week 5.
