There's no love lost between Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan and Albert Haynesworth. Washington's coach fired back at his former player, saying that the only players he hasn't gotten along with are "lazy" ones, according to the team's Twitter account.
Mike Shanahan fires back at Albert Haynesworth
The war of words continues between the Redskins coach and the former player.

Haynesworth appeared on Tennessee Sports Radio on Wednesday saying the Redskins coach is “conniving,” and indicated that Shanahan’s ego is what’s holding the team back. The 2013 season hasn’t started the way Washington had hoped, as the Redskins find themselves at 2-5 and unlikely to follow up on their playoff appearance from a year ago.
Friction began between Haynesworth and Shanahan in 2010, shortly after the head coach was hired. The veteran defensive tackle was unable to pass a series of conditioning tests prior to the season and quickly found himself on the team's inactive list. After two failed years, the Redskins decided to part ways with Haynesworth, accepting a fifth-round pick from the New England Patriots after paying him $41 million in guaranteed money.
