Rob Gronkowski ruled out for Patriots vs. Bengals
Rob Gronkowski didn’t travel with the team and will be out for Sunday’s game. He hopes to be back in Week 6.

Gronkowski had another week of limited practice and was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, but the Patriots felt pessimistic about his Week 5 timetable. He is hoping to be ready for next week's game against the New Orleans Saints.
Gronkowski missed most of the offseason program after multiple forearm and back surgeries. The Patriots declined to place him on the regular season PUP list, which would have cost him the first six weeks of the season, but he's coming right up against that original timeframe. Michael Hoomanawanui and Matthew Mulligan are the only tight ends left on the depth chart after the team waived rookie Zach Sudfeld.
Wide receiver Danny Amendola did make the flight with the team and is considered a game time decision. The team is feeling more optimistic about his chances of suiting up on Sunday.
