Kelly: Vick remains the starting QB for the Eagles

Phil Sears-USA TODAY SportsFollowing the game, Eagles head coach Chip Kelly stood by his current starter, Vick. Kelly also added that Vick could have returned to the game if Foles was injured. The coach decided that Vick was not moving comfortably in pocket and decide to avoid further injury by letting Foles play.
While Kelly is behind Vick as the starter, he was very impressed by Foles’ performance:

Wilson, a second-year man out of Virginia Tech, scored on a five-yard run early in the first quarter to put the Giants up 7-0. It was his first touchdown of the season. He had six carries for 16 yards before exiting.

Giants running back David Wilson scored first in against the Eagles in an NFC East battle for the basement this Sunday. He was so happy about the possibility of contributing to his team’s first win of the season, he flipped out ... backflipped that is, twice.
Then again, maybe he’s just happy to be making the most of his second chance after nearly fumbling his way out of the lineup to start the season.
