Ray Rice led the Baltimore Ravens to a much-needed victory over the Miami Dolphins on a day where Joe Flacco's play was a mixed bag. Rice scored two touchdowns in the Ravens' 26-23 victory.
Flacco threw the ball well, completing 19 of his 32 passing attempts, but he also threw a bad interception that almost cost the Ravens the game. Luckily Rice was the difference maker on Sunday, though. The Ravens running back has been very quiet for much of 2013, but showed up today when it mattered as he ran for two touchdowns and finished with 102 all-purpose yards.
Ryan Tannehill was coming off a poor Monday night performance, but showed fans on Sunday why he's so highly regarded in NFL circles. An excellent passing day from the second-year quarterback almost fueled the late comeback and he finished with 307 yards through the air. Moving forward, the Dolphins have to find help at running back as Lamar Miller finished with an ineffective 15 yards on a handful of carries.
