Tom Brady’s 52-game touchdown streak ends

Tom Brady’s touchdown streak is over after a 13-6 loss to the Bengals.

The Patriots 13-6 loss to the Bengals ended more than just New England's undefeated record. The Bengals held Patriots quarterback Tom Brady without a touchdown, ending his 52-week scoring streak.

Brady was held to 18-of-38 for just 197 yards and interception in the Week 5 loss. The return of Danny Amendola did little to help Brady as the slot receiver was held to just 55 receiving yards on four catches. The running game also did not do much to alleviate Brady's tamed performance with just 82 combined rushing yards.

The loss for the Patriots is their first in the regular season since Week 15 of last year. Brady being held under 50-percent passing has not occurred since Week 15 of the 2009 season. He has seven touchdowns and three interceptions through five games this season.

The Patriots will host the Saints in Week 6 in New England in a Sunday afternoon game on FOX.
