Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert might be on the sideline for an extended period after he heard his hamstring pop in the team's 34-20 loss to the St. Louis Rams in Week 5, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Blaine Gabbert injury: Jaguars QB could miss extended time
Blaine Gabbert reportedly heard his hamstring pop during the Jaguars’ Week 5 loss to the St. Louis Rams.

Gabbert, 23, previously missed two games after suffering a lacerated hand in the team’s opener and has compiled an 0-3 record in three starts in 2013. He has completed 48.8 percent of his passes with one touchdown and seven interceptions as the Jaguars have started the season 0-5.
If Gabbert is out of the lineup, the team will instead have to rely on the contributions of Chad Henne, who has only been a little better during his tenure with the Jaguars. In two starts in 2013, Henne has completed 55.8 percent of his passes with two touchdowns and two interceptions.
The Jaguars face the biggest line in NFL history in Week 6 when they travel to face the undefeated Denver Broncos.
