The Baltimore Ravens have re-signed wide receiver Brandon Stokley just two days after releasing him, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports. According to Ravens blog Baltimore Beat Down, the Ravens cut Stokley just before the Miami Dolphins game so that they could bring in Billy Bajema as a third tight end, but the team apparently intended to bring Stokley back as soon as they could. There is no word yet on who the team released in the corresponding roster move.
Baltimore Ravens re-sign Brandon Stokley
Brandon Stokley is back with the Ravens, just two days after being released by the team prior to Sunday’s win over the Miami Dolphins.

The Ravens had just three active receivers on the roster Sunday. With Jacoby Jones out with a sprained MCL and rookie Marlon Brown out with a strained hamstring, the Ravens were able to eke out a win with just Torrey Smith, Tandon Doss and Deonte Thompson.
Stokley is in his 15th season in the NFL. He had success earlier in his career as a beneficiary of Peyton Manning’s passing in Indianapolis and Denver, though his best playing days are behind him at 37 years old. Stokley has nine receptions for 79 yards on the season.
