By trading Trent Richardson, the Browns made it apparent they are willing to deal any player if it helps the long-term future of the team. Josh Gordon could be the next player headed out of Cleveland and the Browns have had trade discussions with San Francisco, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Josh Gordon trade rumors: Browns, 49ers discuss a deal
Josh Gordon has been the subject of trade rumors recently, including a possible deal to San Francisco.

Cleveland is attempting to stockpile draft picks and is reportedly seeking a second-round pick in return for Gordon, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The Browns selected Gordon in the second round of the 2012 Supplemental Draft. San Francisco has its own second-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and could have an additional second based on the conditions of trade that sent Alex Smith to Kansas City.
The 49ers are also lacking at wide receiver. That could change soon, however, with Mario Manningham and Michael Crabtree possibly returning from injuries in November. Schefter called a possible deal for Gordon unlikely.
Despite being in his second season, Gordon is still just 22 years old and has shown the ability to make plays. He missed the first two games of this season because of suspension, but has 18 catches for 303 yards and two touchdowns in three games. He finished last season with 50 receptions for 805 yards and has averaged 16.3 yards per reception during his career.
