Jets vs. Falcons 2013 inactives: Santonio Holmes, Steven Jackson inactive

The Falcons will host the Jets on Monday Night Football, but both teams will be without key players due to injuries.

Ron Antonelli

The Falcons and Jets will both be without key starters when they meet on Monday Night Football. Santonio Holmes and Dee Milliner are the notable inactives for New York while Atlanta will once again be without Sam Baker and Steven Jackson.

Milliner and Holmes were ruled out earlier in the week after neither practiced during the week. Both players are dealing with hamstring injuries. Holmes injured his hamstring last week, while Milliner will miss his second straight game. Although Geno Smith won't have Holmes, Stephen Hill is active for New York. He was limited during the week due to a concussion. Tight end Kellen Winslow missed two practices during the week, but is active against Atlanta.

Jackson hasn't played since Week 2 due to a hamstring injury. Baker was ruled out early in the week due to a knee injury and Lamar Holmes will replace him on Matt Ryan's blindside. Ryan will have his full cast of receivers with both Julio Jones and Roddy White active despite being limited in practice all week. Jones and White have been hampered by injuries all season, yet continue to play through them. Asante Samuel was listed as questionable due to a thigh injury, but he is active.

Here is a complete look at the inactive lists for both teams.

New York’s inactives:

QB Brady Quinn, WR Santonio Holmes, CB Dee Milliner, G Will Campbell, T Ben Ijalana, T Oday Aboushi, TE Zach Sudfeld.

Atlanta’s inactives:

S Kemal Ishmael, RB Steven Jackson, S Zeke Motta, LB Akeem Dent, G Harland Gunn, OT Sam Baker, TE Chase Coffman
