Arian Foster will be a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup between the Houston Texans and the Indianapolis Colts, head coach Gary Kubiak announced Friday. Foster was a limited participant throughout the week with a hamstring injury that knocked him out of the Texans' Week 7 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
NFL injury roundup: Arian Foster, Roddy White game-time decisions
Two normally reliable players -- Arian Foster and Roddy White -- will be game-time decisions in Week 9. The latest on them, plus more on Doug Martin, Thaddeus Lewis, Jonathan Stewart and Kelechi Osemele in Friday’s injury roundup.

Ben Tate is reportedly probable despite being limited with a ribs injury, and would likely carry a heavy load against the Colts if Foster is forced to sit. Ideally for the Texans, both running backs will be available. If not, a slew of backups -- which includes Deji Karim, Dennis Johnson and Ray Graham -- could also see carries.
Roddy White is on pace to be a game-time decision before the Atlanta Falcons' take on their division rival the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Head coach Mike Smith announced the receiver as questionable Friday.
White sat out practice Wednesday and Thursday before returning as a limited participant Friday. He is recovering from a hamstring injury that has kept him out of consecutive games for Atlanta.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without Doug Martin on Sunday when they take on the Seattle Seahawks, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports. The news shouldn't come as a surprise. Martin was expected to take a long time to recover when he suffered a shoulder injury in October. He did not practice this week. The better question may not be "when" he returns this season, but "if."
While Martin is on the mend, rookie Mike James will continue to handle the Buccaneers' primary rushing duties. James is averaging 3.9 yards per carry through six appearances this season.
Thaddeus Lewis was listed as doubtful on the Buffalo Bills' injury report Friday with a rib injury, according to ESPN's Mike Rodak. Lewis has yet to officially be ruled out for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs, but it appears likely that the Bills will turn to either Jeff Tuel or Matt Flynn as the starting quarterback.
According to Bills blog Buffalo Rumblings, Tuel is the likely starter after taking more reps than Flynn in practice this week. Head coach Doug Marrone emphasized that he would have no problem playing Lewis if he can prove he can throw well prior to kickoff, however.
Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera announced Friday that running back Jonathan Stewart will be activated from the physically unable to perform list Friday, according to the Charlotte Observer. Stewart is coming off an 11-month layoff after undergoing surgery on both of his ankles. Now it appears the Panthers will finally have a healthy backfield.
Stewart will be available to play when the Panthers take on the Falcons on Sunday, though how heavy a workload he'll receive is unknown to this point. He and DeAngelo Williams are used to sharing the backfield with each other, though they have rarely been healthy at the same time since 2009.
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced Friday that left guard Kelechi Osemele will miss the rest of the 2013 season with a back injury. The injury is expected to require surgery.
Osemele appeared on the Ravens' injury report this week with knee and back injuries. According to Ravens blog Baltimore Beat Down, he had been playing through the pain of a bulging disk for several weeks. Initially, Osemele wanted to wait until the offseason to undergo a procedure, but has now apparently changed his mind. A.Q. Shipley is expected to step into the starting lineup at left guard.
