Reports swirled Sunday that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was unhappy with offensive coordinator Todd Haley and could be traded in the offseason if the team can find a franchise quarterback in the draft. These reports were first refuted by Roethlisberger's agent, and now the owner of the Steelers has weighed in.

Art Rooney II issued a one-sentence statement that was a blanket denial of the earlier report.

“Contrary to erroneous reports, the Pittsburgh Steelers have not explored trading quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and have no plans to do so.”

The Steelers currently lead the Buffalo Bills, 10-3, at halftime of Sunday's game, and are seeking their third win of the season. Pittsburgh's offense has struggled since Bruce Arians, now the head coach in Arizona, left to join the Colts. Under Todd Haley, the Steelers rank 25th in points scored, while Roethlisberger is on pace for his lowest quarterback rating since 2008.
