Jonathan Martin is likely done for the season, ESPN's Lisa Salters reports. Martin told Salters that he would like to play again, but feels that he can't return to the Miami Dolphins, which will force him to wait out the season unless the Dolphins decide to release him.
Jonathan Martin likely out for season, per report
After a emotionally charged departure from the Dolphins, Jonathan Martin doesn’t anticipate playing again this season.

Martin left the Dolphins roughly two weeks ago, upset with alleged harassment from teammates, notably offensive line-mate Richie Incognito. The drama surrounding Martin, Incognito and the Dolphins' locker room has since blown up into a national news story. Several Dolphins players have already come out in support of Incognito, and admonished Martin for not handling the issue internally.
Without support from teammates, Martin would have a difficult time re-integrating himself back into the Dolphins’ locker room. Players on other teams have voiced support for Martin, however, so he would presumably be welcomed elsewhere.
Martin began the season as the Dolphins’ starting left tackle, and as a former second-round pick he has the talent to be a solid depth player, at the very least. If he stays in shape, Martin will likely continue his career elsewhere beginning in 2014.
