The Green Bay Packers are signing free agent quarterback Matt Flynn, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Flynn's signing comes following a game in which Seneca Wallace was forced to leave with a groin injury and Scott Tolzien was unsuccessful in a Week 10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. It's a move to give the Packers some much-needed depth at the position following an injury sustained by Aaron Rodgers.

Acme Packing Company: Reaction to Matt Flynn

Green Bay will be Flynn's fourth destination since leaving the team as a free agent in 2011. He was signed by the Seattle Seahawks with hopes he could be a franchise quarterback, a belief the Oakland Raiders also held when they traded for the veteran quarterback earlier this year.

The Raiders released Flynn when he was passed on the depth chart by third-year quarterback Terrelle Pryor. Flynn's last stop was Buffalo, where he remained on the roster for three weeks as a depth option when E.J. Manuel was lost to injury.
