Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker LaRoy Reynolds has been suspended four games for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing drugs, according to Ryan O'Halloran.

Reynolds was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia and made an impression in training camp before being named to the Jaguars’ final roster. He has appeared in nine games this season on special teams, recording six tackles.

The news comes 10 days after it was announced wide receiver Justin Blackmon would be suspended for the rest of the 2013 season after he violated the league's substance abuse policy. These are two very different suspensions, one for on-field enhancing drugs and the other for recreation drugs -- but it speaks to the team's struggles in 2013 and comes two days after the Jaguars recorded their first win of 2013.

Reynolds' suspension comes at an inopportune time. Linebacker Paul Posluszny sustained a concussion in Sunday's win, which could have given the rookie linebacker his first NFL start. The team will likely shift Russell Allen inside against the Arizona Cardinals as a result.
