A source has revealed that Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe will start against the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football, according to ESPN.

According to the report Bowe’s recent marijuana arrest will not affect his status in Week 11, and noted that the team has not yet handled the issue internally. Sunday’s game is of vital importance to both teams, with the winner taking control atop the AFC West.
Bowe signed a five-year, $56 million contract in 2012 and has been underwhelming in 2013. He has caught 33 passes for 369 yards and a two touchdowns — on pace for the lowest totals of his career. Despite these struggles the Chiefs need a big target for end zone passes, as the team's receiving leaders are Donnie Avery and running back Jamaal Charles, both of whom are small players.
Arrowhead Pride: Reaction to Bowe's availability
It remains to be seen if the league will take any action against Bowe for his arrest. Traditionally NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has waited for the legal system to render judgement before handing down penalty. Bowe is scheduled for his first court appearance on Dec. 18.
