Da’Quan Bowers injury: Bucs DE dealing with concussion-like symptoms
Da’Quan Bowers is dealing with concussion-like symptoms, putting his status in jeopardy for Sunday’s game between the Buccaneers and the Falcons.

Bowers suffered the injury during Monday’s game, though when, exactly, is unclear. As Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times points out, Bowers was on the field for the final series of the game.
Bowers notched his first sack of the season Monday, albeit a half-sack in conjunction with William Gholston. The Buccaneers have been waiting patiently for the third-year defensive end to bloom, but he has just five career sacks in 35 appearances.
Before the season began, Bucs head coach Greg Schiano challenged Bowers to re-earn his every-down role on defense. Bowers has been unable to do so through nine games, however. Concussion issues certainly won’t help his progress.
Bowers has dealt with injury and conditioning issues since entering the league. Achilles and knee injuries held him to just 10 games in 2012.
