The Chargers fell to 4-5 after losing to the Denver Broncos. They are well behind the Broncos and Chiefs in the division and will need to improve on their 2-4 conference record if they want to stay in the wild card race. The Dolphins are in free fall -- after a 3-0 start, they lost five of their last six games and are still embroiled in the ongoing hazing scandal. Things hit a new low when they lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and dropped to 4-5. They are one game behind the Jets in the AFC East.
The Chargers are nearly unanimous picks to win. Five out of six experts on SB Nation picked San Diego, with Matt Ufford being the only contrarian. Over at ESPN, seven out of eight panelists are going with the Chargers, and eight of nine analysts at CBS Sports are also picking San Diego to win.
