Packers vs. Giants 2013: New York gets another win with a victory over banged up Green Bay

After a tough start to the season, the Giants have turned on an impressive win streak. A win over a banged-up Packers squad was the latest victim of the Giants in their four-game win streak. The Packers, who were without Aaron Rodgers, have lost three straight games and are on a downward spiral without him.
Packers backup QB Scott Tolzien threw three interceptions in his first start and got little help from his running game. The Giants, on the other hand, had protection through the air and on the ground. It was a complete victory for the Giants on Sunday.
Evan Western of Acme Packing Company believes the Packers offense performance left a lot to be desired:
All in all, Tolzien finished the day 24 of 34 for 339 yards, but he had no touchdowns and threw three interceptions, including one late in the game. Eddie Lacy gained only 27 yards on 14 carries, though he did have the one touchdown. On the receiving end, Jordy Nelson led the way with eight receptions for 117 yards.
Ed Valentine of Big Blue View has a renewed sense of hope for the Giants:
There is no way anyone could have really believed when the Giants were 0-6 that next Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys would be an important one in the NFC East race. The Giants can't get to first place next Sunday, but they can get within a game of the division-leading Philadelphia Eagles with a victory. Players can say what they want, but this scenario was unthinkable a few weeks ago. Too bad the Washington Redskins couldn't complete their comeback. The Redskins trailed Philly 24-0 Sunday and closed within 24-16 before Robert Griffin III threw an interception to end Washington's comeback hopes.
The Giants will host the Cowboys in Week 12, while the Packers will host the Vikings.
